Plan to join us on Saturday, December 28 at Avogadros on 605 S. Mason St., Fort Collins, 4-7PM for an evening of Holiday spirit and blues music provided by The High Plains Holiday Blues Band and Friends, featuring members of some of your favorite local blues bands.
Tickets are only $15, with proceeds going to benefit Disabled Resource Services, a local non-profit whose mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve self-determined goals that result in attaining their maximum level of independence at home and in the community. They are asking everyone to bring socks to donate – all sizes and types are needed!
We’ll also be collecting non-perishable food items for Homeward Alliance, a local non-profit whose mission is to empower individuals and families who face homelessness to survive, move forward and thrive. Most needed are:
Ramen/noodles in cups (not bricks)
Mac & cheese cups
Oatmeal/hot chocolate packets
Tuna packets, canned sausage, nut butter packets, other shelf stable protein
Granola bars/other individually packaged snacks
Get ready to celebrate the Holidays with your fellow blues lovers and at the same time help out folks in our community who need a little extra love!
